International Partnerships

For many years, the YMCA of Niagara was involved in International Development with the YMCA of Trinidad and Tobago. In partnership with YMCA Canada and CIDA, the YMCA of Niagara was able to provide direct support, resources, train and mentor volunteers and staff from Trinidad and Tobago in a variety of ways.

Staff and volunteers from the YMCA of Niagara were involved with youth exchanges, strategic planning and the business plan, the development of a philanthropic program and providing resources for the YMCA in Trinidad and Tobago.

Currently, the YMCA of Niagara is investigating other opportunities for partnerships in other areas of the globe.

The YMCA of Niagara is a charity, open to all, providing leadership and opportunities for people and their community to grow in spirit, mind and body.
